Pros and cons of HazMat Reference and Emergency Response Guide app for iPhone and iPad
HazMat Reference and Emergency Response Guide app good for
Its the same program as the one available for computers, containing the same information. The transition to the iPhone is very well made and this application is easy to use.
Every firefighter and first responders should get this app. Amazing!
Doesnt have dimethyldisulphite. Should expand for more oilfield products. 10000+ chemicals in this country and it should have an update on a regular basis. Great for me in the field, especially for the fracking business.
Thanks for this app i haul bulk hazmat and is very useful and easy to run.
It is an awesome but it requires keeping up to date to hit its greatest potential.
Awesome app. All the info from the book and more. Fast lookups. Nice app.
Some bad moments
I am a firefighter i think every firefighter should have this app i use it all the time and its realy easy to found what ur looking for :-)
I use this app a lot. I drive OTR and move HazMat across the country regularly and it is nice to have the information at your fingertips, especially on the phone as I always have my phone with me. In the event of something happening I know what I carry on any load and can quickly access the information for emergency personnel should it ever be required. Its the little orange book on the phone!
Thank you for this app.
I work for a FAR 135 helicopter operation in the Gulf of Mexico. This app has proven to be super useful in our day to day operations transporting Haz-Mat to the offshore facilities.
Having the guide at my fingertip as well as the hard copy allows me flexibility to identify hazards quickly.
Just like the book only its always up to date! I never go to work without it.
I use to carry a hard copy of the RGB but with this app I rarely us it.
What would be a handy feature is to be able to take a photo of placard or label and have app identify guide pages that apply or ID number/names.
